The HIV services in Doncaster will continue to be provided by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Trust (DBTH) with the clinic based at Sexual Health Services 4 Doncaster. The service will continue to be provided by the same team in the same way but working in close partnership and embedded within the sexual health services team.
New patients who would like to register with the local HIV service can self-refer by calling the mainline reception number and asking to speak with the HIV team. We welcome all new patients to the service.
For Healthcare Professionals wishing to refer or transfer a patient to the HIV services.
All your patient related information will remain under TriHealth DBTH. This includes any sexual health or contraceptive care which you may have had. This information will remain completely accessible to the TriHealth Doncaster team only, working within Sexual Health Services 4 Doncaster. This sexual health/contraception information can be transferred across to Solutions 4 Health as necessary, with your consent.
When contacting the service on the main telephone line, please advise reception that you access the HIV service, or if you prefer, are a ‘long-term TriHealth Patient/service user’. This enables us to identify you and your needs as quickly as possible as only the reception team working in the TriHealth HIV service will have access to your records.
Please do continue to use the Specialist Nurse mobile number and secure email address that you may already have been given. If you would like these contact details, please contact the main reception line and the team will be happy to provide.
